About Me
Hi my name is April Emilio, but most people know me from my radio background as “April Styles”. I have a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree, with a double emphasis in television and radio production, so most of my photography background comes from the film and television production side of things. Before turning my part-time photography hobby into a full-time career I worked in radio, television and I have even worked for a well known a big budget film company in California. That’s where I met my amazing husband Jarod. After marrying the love of my life, we both knew what we wanted next. But the birth of my daughter Elizabeth stopped me in my tracks. That’s when I realized that now that I was a mom, all I wanted to do was to spend as much time with my daughter as possible while still doing photography as a hobby. With the support of my husband, I gave my dream a chance and put my faith into the Lord. I opened my first photography studio. The studio has grown and moved from 3rd and Main St. in downtown Pueblo, Colorado to Seal Beach, California. My photos have been published in numerous news publications, magazines and featured on billboards. My hobbies today include artistic photography, graphic design, web design, going to “Story Time” at the library with my daughter, and hanging out at Disneyland. My photography style is simple, elegant and clean. I want to capture intimate moments that pull at your heart. I always strive to capture the true beauty and essence of all of my subjects. Session Fee ~ $200
• Includes artist fees, one hour session time, airbrushing, photo touch-ups, and a personalized slideshow proof gallery (available online) that you can share with family and friends.
Newborn Session Fee ~ $150
(Babies must be 2 weeks or younger to qualify for newborn session rate)

• Please book during your pregnancy if possible, or within the first few days of life.
Additional Fees
• Hourly Rate- $90 hourly rate applies after the first session hour of photography (i.e. Weddings, Senior portraits, etc.)
• Late Rescheduling Fee- A two hour notice to reschedule your appointment is appreciated or a $40 rescheduling fee will apply
• Traveling Fee- $1/mile rate applies if the shoot is more than 20 miles away from the studio
