Hi my name is April Emilio, but most people know me from my radio background as �April Styles�.

I have a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree, with a double emphasis in television and radio

production, so most of my photography background comes from the film and television production

side of things. Before turning my part-time photography hobby into a full-time career I worked in

radio, television and I have even worked for a well known a big budget film company in California.

That�s where I met my amazing husband Jarod. After marrying the love of my life, we both knew

what we wanted next. But the birth of my daughter Elizabeth stopped me in my tracks. That�s when I

realized that now that I was a mom, all I wanted to do was to spend as much time with my daughter

as possible while still doing photography as a hobby. With the support of my husband, I gave my

dream a chance and put my faith into the Lord. I opened my first photography studio.

Since then, the studio has grown and moved to 3rd and Main St. in downtown Pueblo. I still do most

of my office work from home but use my beautiful downtown studio for many of my photo-shoots and

meetings. My photos have been published in numerous news publications, magazines and featured

on billboards. My hobbies today include artistic photography, graphic design, web design, walking

the Pueblo Riverwalk with my family and going to �Story Time� at the library with the kids. My

photography style is simple, elegant and clean. I want to capture intimate moments that pull at your

heart. I always strive to capture the true beauty and essence of all of my subjects. I invite you now to
